Weaker prices overnight.

More green on the screen yesterday as soybeans had a big day up 22 cents and corn up 5 cents. Another new high for new crop corn and November soybeans got to 15.20. This is a combination of an acre battle and war premium. The crop losses happening in Ukraine will have ripple effects for the rest of the year and it is affecting crop decisions here in the US. We have heard more barley and sunflowers being planted in the Dakotas as one example. We think corn is going to suffer from this as it is the most expensive crop to plant right now. This is going to be a roller coaster and at points we will all feel silly about decisions we make but there will be opportunities and you have to what is best for you and your profitability. We had some weak export sales numbers this morning so we will see if they try to sell it this morning. Watching 7.42 & 16.85 for support in the May contracts this morning. NFC Grain Comments 3.24.22
