Trading headlines in the Russia Ukraine conflict

Headlines having to do with the Russian Ukraine peace talks have started pushing the markets around like the trade war with China a few years back. We came in yesterday with corn down 13 cents after Zelensky deemed the peace talks “good” but later in the day Putin claimed Ukraine was not serious about finding real solutions and corn rallied to go plus 7 cents on the day. I am using corn for example but crude, bean oil and wheat moved as well. We are getting to the point where Ukraine’s corn and wheat output for the year will be very diminished and possibly washed out completely. Overnight, corn and wheat is lower but soybeans and crude oil are higher. Watch 7.42 for first support in May corn and the 16.55 overnight low for soybeans. NFC Grain Comments 3.16.22 (1)
