The agricultural cooperative CHS acquired eight-grain facilities from Cargill to help farmers compete in the global marketplace. CHS says this deal will give farmers more local assets. CHS recently reported higher grain and oilseed sales volumes. The company is looking for new ways to help farmers after falling grain prices.
