Ukraine drone strike damages Russian Naval ship

After a mixed finish yesterday with soybeans scratching out a slight gain, everything is higher overnight due to escalated fighting in the Black Sea. A Ukraine drone strike has on the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk has damaged a Russian Naval ship. At the morning break, wheat was up 20, corn up 8 and soybeans up 10. This will supersede any weather pressure to end the week. We could see a really volatile weekend in the Black Sea conflict which will likely see traders want to own the wheat and corn markets. The weather forecast is calling for good rains across the corn belt this weekend and early next week and this could bring more pressure next week but not likely today.
