Tamer forecast for next week

Corn and soybean futures finished lower yesterday and are a little softer overnight as the forecast for next week has softened and is less threatening than it was earlier in the week. We will see if much of that got priced in the last 2 days or if there is more to the downside today. If you look at the maps below you will see much better precipitation coverage in the 7 day as well as lower temperatures. Russian and Ukraine situation remains in flux and the European heat wave continues to hurt production on the bullish side of things.
