Crop tour finds better fields than last year the first 2 days
So far this week, corn is off 9.5 cents, soybeans – 14 cents and wheat –12 cents.
The hot dry weather so far has not kept the markets from backing up. The first 2 days of the Pro Farmer Crop tour have found better crops than last year in IN, SD, NE & OH. We will get their final numbers tomorrow night to see how they measure up vs last year. Some bullish fundamentals that may be out there is world weather. China has had major flooding in their main corn growing area and Argentina remains dry and they should start planting corn in September. For today, we will use 4.74 & 13.20 for support and 5.05 & 13.74 for resistance. NFC Grain Comments Options -8.22.23 (1)
