Bullish factors keep the push higher intact

Corn, soybeans and wheat are all marching higher as many bullish factors push prices higher. The newest is the initial winter wheat conditions rating was the 2nd lowest on record. Everyone knew it was going to be bad but worse than expected and high winds are called for starting Wednesday in areas of the Southern Plains. China was in for a huge corn sale yesterday but will be quiet until Thursday due to a national holiday. Ukraine conflict carries on and it is becoming more apparent that their crop will be diminished and used mostly internally for food. How that changes the USDA assumptions for exports may start to be seen in the April WASDE on Friday. We still must wait until May for the new crop balance sheet. Look for momentum to continue to try and push prices higher. NFC Grain Comments 4.5.22 (1)
