Last week corn and wheat were slight losers last week while soybeans rallied 59 cents. Soybean basis for old crop continues firm to higher across the grain belt and there are concerns over supply before we get to harvest and it has spiked soybean prices. We will get a fresh planting progress this afternoon and should see some excellent progress nationally and hopefully we see some decent progress up north.
We are closing in the PP date for corn in the N Plains and it will get really interesting if these high prices force farmers hands to keep planting corn. Watch the overnight lows for support. NFC Grain Comments Options -5.23.22 (1)
