Another hot Sunday night start to the week.

Corn and soybeans have big gains overnight after a negative week last week with down 20.75 and 8 cents respectively. Ukraine seems to be keeping Russia from taking any of their major objectives so far but it was also quiet on the peace talks front. Ukrainian farmers should be starting corn planting right now and with war still being waged and considerable damage to infrastructure it is hard to believe they are getting much accomplished. This is helping December corn put in new highs as it needs to secure more acres in the current climate. We will see if new crop soybeans make a run as well. Watching 7.42 in May corn and 16.65 in May soybeans. A lot of bullish factors could provide a big week for the grains. NFC Grain Comments 3.21.22 (1)
