Will Russia/Ukraine provide bullish news over the weekend?

For the week: December Corn – 33 cents, November Beans – 49.25 cents and September Wheat – 71.25 cents.

Even with some serious war headlines out of Ukraine this week, the grain and oilseed markets lost a bunch of ground this week. The better August weather showed up as expected this 1st week of the month with more to come this in a few days. Widespread rains are expected for much of the Corn belt starting Sunday. We will have to monitor these showers and any new headlines to come out of the Black Sea this weekend for some bullish help.
